Bridging Knowledge and Collaboration: FTMM Students’ Enriching Visit to Chulalongkorn University

November 19–22, 2024, 15 of my students from the Faculty of Advanced Technology and Multidiscipline (FTMM), Universitas Airlangga, visited my professor and Chemistry department at Chulalongkorn University.

They attended a special class with Prof. Vudhichai on Density Functional Theory (DFT) and nanotechnology, which provided them with valuable insights into cutting-edge research and applications.

During the visit, they had the opportunity to explore several Centers of Excellence and laboratories, including the CECC Computational Chemistry, the CENP Natural Products, the Quantum Dots Lab. the Nanochemistry and Sensors Lab.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my professors: Ajarn Vudhichai, Ajarn Somsak, Ajarn Sumrit, Ajarn Kanet, Ajarn Numpon, and all the faculty staff who kindly guided and supported my students throughout the visit.

Special thanks also go to my seniors and juniors at CECC: P’Pum, P’Pond, P’Jaah, and Baas, as well as the Indonesian researcher/student at Chulalongkorn University: Dr. Aswin, Luthfi, Viny, Dr. Aga, Septian, and others.

Thank you so much for your assistance and inspiration. I hope my students gained valuable knowledge and unforgettable experiences from this visit to Chulalongkorn University and Thailand.
